About Us
Lunch Planning Isn't Easy, But It Should Be.
SpaceCoast.food was built out of a simple frustration: there was no reliable, centralized way to see where food trucks would be at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Patrick Space Force Base. Schedules were scattered, last-minute changes were common, and people were often left guessing.
We built SpaceCoast.food to change that.
Today, SpaceCoast.food helps make food truck schedules easier to find, easier to trust, and easier to plan around — whether you're on base or nearby.

A Note on Food Truck Vetting
Many of the food trucks listed on SpaceCoast.food have been approved to operate on Patrick Space Force Base and surrounding installations through a formal review process coordinated by the Exchange and base Public Health. These trucks are designated by a border around their logo, such as this:

In addition to on-base verification, SpaceCoast.food uses two levels of document vetting for off-base listings and event consideration:
Standard Vetting: Confirms the basics most venues require (active Florida license, insurance, and a passing food safety inspection). Standard-vetted trucks may appear on the SpaceCoast.food home page and can be considered for SpaceCoast.food-sourced events.

Advanced Vetting: Adds higher-compliance items some formal locations request (e.g., commercial auto, commissary documentation, food manager/PIC certs, fire/suppression or gas inspections, and related safety documentation). Advanced-vetted trucks are better positioned for more formal locations with stricter requirements.

This process typically includes verification of:
- State licensing and inspections
- Approved commissary usage
- Food safety certifications and training
- Equipment, fire suppression, and food handling compliance
We screen vendors before they’re listed or considered for events. This includes reviewing their menu/brand, confirming active operations, reviewing inspection reports and collecting documents commonly required by venues (such as insurance/COI and applicable permits). We package this information to make it easier for venue/location managers to evaluate vendors.
SpaceCoast.food is not the final authority for on-site permission—each venue/installation makes the final call and requirements may vary.
Our goal is simple: make it easier to find great trucks and help organizers book vendors who are ready to roll.
Whether you're craving street tacos, BBQ, wood-fired pizza, or comfort food classics — we've got you covered.
